Zen Master Teaching #13: One must push the limits of the psyche cautiously. While it is possible to keep the consciousness active and alert for extended periods of time, one must be able to deal with the sensations of vertigo, mood swings from lack of rest, and sometimes hallucinations which come unbidden and without warning. One must keep on one's guard if this is to be attempted.
